Branded p.90-91 translation

Minnie Cooper kör inte en Mini Cooper. Hennes bil är en vit Polo, och den kör in på besökarnas parkering bakom en Mondeo och framför en Yaris. Det är fyra personer i Mondeon, två i Yarisen. När hon fickparkerade i utrymmet, Minnie är glad över att flera grupper av människor sölar nära fordon, antagligen väntar de på att receptions byggnaden ska öppna.

Det är inte riktigt en byggnad, det är en av dem där mobila sakerna som toaletterna på pop festivaler, och det står på vidsträckt asfalt utanför fängelse portarna. Ramper på vartdera slut leder till dörrar som är stängda. Ordet IN är stämplad på rälsen nära rampen, UT på rälsen vid de andra. Två fängelse tjänstemän lutar på varsin sida av IN skylten, rökande. Ingen av dem kollar mot bil parkeringen, som håller på att fyllas upp.

För att besöka någon i fängelset måste man ha en besökstillstånd. Minnie Cooper har inte ett för hon känner inte någon i fängelset. Hon känner en eller två personer som borde vara i fängelset, men det är inte poängen. Hon vet att hon inte kommer komma igenom portarna, men det är okej, hon behöver inte det. Allt hon behöver är att en av Gavin Ward’s föräldrar visar sig. Eller båda. Hon vet hur dem ser ut, hon hade tillräckligt med tid att granska dem i domstolen. Hon hoppas att det blir idag, för det är sjätte gången på sju dagar som hon kommer hit. Det här är ett top-säkerhets fängelse: förr eller senare kommer någon att märka och ifrågasätta henne. Fem minuter före receptionen ska öppna, besökare går mot botten av rampen och en kö bildas. Minnie kollar från förar sätet men ser inget ansikte hon känner igen. Hon har praktiskt taget förmått sig själv till nödvändigheten att riskera en sjunde vaka när en gammal röd Polo klämmer sig förbi och kör långsamt in i en närliggande parkerings plats. Förarens dörr öppnas och ut stiger Anna Ward, klädd i kappan som hon hade på sig vid rättegången. Hon ser äldre ut.

Branded pt 1

1. His family couldn’t believe that their Gav did this so i would say they were in denial to the truth. They never thought that Gav that was always nice to them would ever be able to kill someone but when they found out he was in prison they didn’t hate him or anything they just missed him and still couldn’t believe that he had done what he did. (Page 11)

I think the reason that they had such a hard time to accept that he actually did it is because he had always been so nice to them and he wasn’t the kind of person that you think of when you think of a killer. (Page 11)

2. They were treated like they had taught him to kill and like they knew everything he did but didn’t care about it. (Page 12)

3. I think they react in this way because they want someone to blame for the murders and since Gav is in prison they can’t go and call him out so they blame the persons closest to him, his family. I also think they did it because they were obviously angry because someone maybe lost their daughter in the murders so they were maybe blinded by rage and just wanted a scapegoat. (Page 12 and forward)

4. The newspapers are part of the reason as to why Gav’s family are so exposed. The newspaper wants to write about the killers family because that is the big story right now but they don’t care about wether or not they ruin the family’s life or not, they just want money. Another part of the reason why Gav’s family becomes ’’guilty’’ is because the newspapers write about Gav and his family as one instead of them as two separate parts which makes people connect them together so when one part does something bad both did something bad. (Page 27)

5. I don’t think it is right that the family of a killer has to move because of something the killer did but then who am i to judge the person that lost their daughter. As for them moving i don’t think they had any other choice unless they wanted to be the bullied family in the neighbourhood. Because they were treated like murderers they had no other choice than to move and get new identities in my opinion. (Page 14-18)

Hello Baby! How is it?

I think our relationship is starting to fall apart and that both of us need time for ourselves so I am breaking up with you. I don’t feel like I used to do for you and I don’t know if you feel anything for me. I hope you find someone that loves you and can make you happy. I can only hope that we can stay friends after the break up. If we can’t be friends i will move out of country and live underground in Mexico with my my pet rock, Steven.

Because of the things that’s happening I think this break up is the best thing for both of us. Some things are just not meant to be Baby but i will always love and I will keep the memories of us together and I will miss you and stuff.

Work XP

I had my first work experience at ICA Kvantum. Everyday i took out different stuff and put it out on the shelves,  I  moved the products to the front of the shelves and i threw trash and stuff.

It was better than school because it wasn’t as boring and I had no homework but it wasn’t that fun really but still better than school. I would rather not work there in the future since i know i can get a better job.

I worked 9-16 with breaks.

I have no special thoughts about my work experience.

Computer

The greatest invention of all times is the computer because I can’t live without it. I love to play games on my computer and i play DotA 2 everyday. It’s a fantastic inventions because you can stay in touch with people where ever you are if you got internet connection, and you can save all kinds of work you do on your computer. 

I use my computer for everything because i am on it everyday, I play games on it, talk with people, do homework and watch streams on it. There is so much you can do with a computer and Wi-Fi. 

I think the computer is important for everyone that works or goes to school because it is so good to work on and save files on and for the people that want to do other stuff when theyare done with working you can play games or talk with people on your computer. You can also use different websites as teaching aids. 

Oliver Twist Summarize

In the year 1830 a mother walked in England. The mother had her baby in a workhouse. the mother kissed her son, then she died. They sent Oliver to Mrs Mann that took care of him for money.

One day the fat man Mr Bumble said Oliver could live at the workhouse. Oliver and Bumble went to the workhouse. Oliver went and asked for more soup for him, the cook got mad and smacked him with his wooden spoon. 

Mr Bumble put Oliver in a room. Mr Bumble woke Oliver up. At dinner time Mr Bumble gave a loud cry and then kicked Oliver round the room. Oliver got sad and ran away. He went to London.

Oliver ran 8 kilometres. Oliver came to London. A boy named Jack Dawkins came up to Oliver and said hello. Jack Dawkins was called Dodger by his friends and he asked if Oliver wanted a place to live. Dodger took Oliver to an old house, where Fagin lived.

Dodger and his friend Charley Bates saw a man on the streets so they pickpocketed him and then ran, the man yelled thief and then people started chasing Oliver. A fat man threw a stone in Olivers head so he fell.. Oliver got taken to prison, a shopkeeper saw that it wasn’t Oliver that stole the money so Oliver got freed. The man was named Mr Brownlow. He took Oliver to his home and let him stay there. 

Fagin wanted to find Oliver so that he wouldn’t tell the police that they were thieves. Nancy was a girl that lived with the thieves. Nancy and Bill Sikes, that was another thief but he was a man, looked for Oliver but they couldn’t find him. One day Mr Brownlow sent Oliver out with a £5 note for the shopkeeper that had freed Oliver. On the way Oliver got stopped by Nancy and Sikes and they took him to Fagin. Sikes told Fagin that he needed Oliver.

Next night Sikes and another thief took Oliver to the house they were gonna rob. Oliver climbed through a window into the house, Sikes told him to open the door but Oliver ran to alert the people that lived there. Two men came out of a room. One of them had a gun. Oliver got shot. Sikes grabbed Oliver and took him out of the house. They ran from the house with the two men behind them screaming  ’’Thieves!’’ Sikes threw Oliver in the grass and ran away.

The next day Oliver woke up and saw the blood. He remembered he got shot. He started walking along the road. He reached a house where a woman named Rose Maylie lived and she put him to bed.

A man named Monks that was Olivers brother was a friend of Fagin. He found Oliver and told Fagin where he was.

Nancy heard their conversation and ran to Rose house to warn them. On the way home Nancy was spotted by a thief and she got killed. 

Rose took Oliver to Mr Brownlow. When they got there Rose talked to Brownlow and told him what happened to Oliver. Mr Brownlow went to the police and told them everything. The police went to Fagins house and they arrested everyone except for Sikes that fell out a window and died.

The main characters name is Oliver Twist, he is a young boy that get’s involved with bad guys when he doesn’t want to. They want him to become a thief but he refuses to do anthing bad. Oliver is tiny and skinny. He has been treated bad his whole life but when he finally finds someone that is nice to him he get’s kidnapped by the thieves so that he doesn’t bust them. 

OIivers mother is found on the street by some random people she is then taken to a workhouse. She gives birth to Oliver then dies. Oliver lives a horrible life until he is found by Mr Brownlow when he got abandoned by the thieves he is living with. He is kidnapped by the theives so that he doesn’t tell the police that they are theives. Oliver get’s shot and the next morning he is able to walk to a nearby house and then the woman that lives there takes care of him. The thieves find out whre Oliver is and sends someone there.
